A sanctuary for artists & new work
Art doesn't happen in isolation; it needs a place to breathe, experiment, and grow. At Lepus Arts, we are building a sanctuary where local creators and visiting artists can gather to invent and shape brand-new work. Whether it is a musician scoring a new piece of music, a theatre group blocking out a community production, or a multimedia creator piecing together a podcast, this will be a collaborative environment designed specifically with the artist's journey in mind
A playground for creativity & lifelong skills
But the true magic of the space is how it opens up to everyone. Creativity belongs to the whole neighborhood, and we are creating a colorful sandbox for people to pick up completely new passions. Through warm, supportive, hands-on community workshops led by friendly mentors, neighbours of all ages can discover the joy of songwriting, dive into digital storytelling, or learn practical production or simply sing and play.
Weaved into the heart of pathhead
The LEAP isn't an island. It has been intentionally designed to work closely with the other incredible community assets, inspirational residents, and brilliant local businesses that make Pathhead and Midlothian so special. This will be a deeply welcoming, inclusive home base.
